To clarify Tierra Verde’s identity visually, we incorporated the five sub-brands as “fruits” in the umbrella company’s tree motif. We utilized recycled paper as the background to show their commitment to waste reduction, and undigital design elements to convey the organic nature of the ingredients. The aim was to showcase Tierra Verde’s approach as a sustainable and responsible company, present a natural look, that would communicate quality and their non-reliance on toxic chemicals.

BRIEF

The brief was to unify Tierra Verde’s five brands and demonstrate its leadership as a sustainable and responsible company and their commitment to the goal of zero waste. They wanted a natural look that represents quality and design elements that communicate their non-reliance on toxic chemicals.

Problem to be solved

Their packaging needed to visually communicate their values, care for people and the earth and their commitment to continual improvement. Furthermore, Tierra Verde’s brand Yellow & Blue, was being mistaken as the parent company. And the product use instructions were complicated and unclear.

Our solution

We displayed the five brands as fruit on the Tierra Verde tree. A recycled paper background and undigital design elements to communicate the organic nature of the ingredients and their commitment to waste reduction. We placed the company’s manifesto on all the labels and small info graphics to simplify the use instructions.

Client relationship

To indicate our partnership and shared purpose and responsibility, Tierra Verde agreed to place our B&H logo and web URL on the label.
